CHRISTINE FULLIN
  HEAD-TRAINER

NVEC’s Christine Fullin comes to us originally from across the country in Connecticut.  As a very young rider, Christine competed internationally in 3 day eventing under Tom and Martha Ann Shires of the Canadian Olympic team.  She owes her strong foundation in flatwork and ability to work with any type of horse in any type of environment, show ring or cross country to her training during her youngest years.  As a teenager, she switched disciplines to the hunter jumper world and trained under famous pony man, Emerson Burr and Olympic Team member and fierce Grand Prix competitor Lesley Burr at the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, CT.

At the age of 15 she turned professional by beginning her teaching and training career at FCHC.  Throughout  her junior and later professional years, she worked with clinicians George Morris, Anne Kursinski, Chris Kappler , Frank Madden, Mark Leone and many others.  She continued training and showing throughout college and after earning her bachelors degree in Psychology she turned down a few “real world” job offers to continue her pursuit of her passion with horses.  She was hired as the Head Coach of the Intercollegiate Riding Team at St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, NC where in her two years of coaching she had several National, Zone and Regional champions including the National Cacchione Cup winner in 1995.

Her next eleven years were spent as Head Trainer and Manager of River Hollow Farm in Perrysburg, OH where she competed in all levels of the hunter and jumper divisions.  She and her clients brought home championships at some of the biggest shows in the country.  Her reputation of having a successful green horse program enabled her riders to purchase young talented prospects and develop them into winners both in the Green divisions with Christine and the amateur divisions with clients.
